Kingston Renovation
This Canberra apartment was completely renovated to transform it into a chic modern home.
The previously enclosed kitchen space was opened up to create space around the new central island bench, transforming it into an open plan living and kitchen space. In keeping with the original foot print of the kitchen, the Nu-Look team worked with the client to build a functional space with the pantry tucked into the corner. New custom made joinery was installed to maximise storage and functionality including cupboard and drawer space on both sides of the island bench.
The bathroom, toilet/poder room and ensuite were completely renovated with white subway tiles to the walls and a complementary floor tile giving the feeling of bright space. Modern fixtures also give these areas a sleek look. Nu-Look also installed custom made vanity units, including a wall to wall double bowl vanity unit in the ensuite.
Other parts of the apartment were renovated to tie it all together. Nu-Look installed floating floor boards in the living/family space. In the master bedroom, some walls were created and moved to increase the space available for storage, including building a walk in robe. The laundry room was fitted out with the same tiles and benchtops as the other wet areas.
