Bungendore Renovation

This Bungendore home was transformed into a chic country home with all the modern trimmings to allow its new home owners to truly make use of the space offered by this house. To do this, various walls were moved to make the spaces more functional.

Our clients also followed our number rule to styling a home – choose a style, stick to it and execute it well.

What the original kitchen lacked this new kitchen definitely does not miss! Not only functional, it now also has provincial charm. To give the space required for preserving produce from the orchard and for the home cook to flex their culinary muscles, the original entrance hallway was removed. With the kitchen now incorporating the entrance to the home, it provided the opportunity to transform the space with more cabinetry for storage and an island bench. This kitchen’s provincial styling is perfectly executed with an ILVE 1000mm Majestic freestanding oven with its matching canopy hood and a ribbed ceramic butler sink.

Taking up what was originally the tiny ensuite, walk in robe and part of the lounge area, the ensuite was created to match the scale required for this home. The modern provincial style ensuite came with all the trimmings – a walk in shower, claw footed bath, matching tapware & furniture. Nu-Look not only custom made the large vanity unit, but also custom made and installed a window to perfectly frame the serene views of the garden fit for a king.

The walk in robe, parent’s retreat and bedroom 1 were transformed by moving/deleting walls of the original bedroom, dining and lounge rooms. And to integrate these spaces, the carpet and slate were replaced with floating bamboo flooring through to the entrance/kitchen space.
