The team kicks the gear up a few notches

We promised a pretty spectacular update this time around, so here it is! The last few weeks have been incredibly productive and the end result is just how we hoped it would be. We could go on and on about all the things we've been up to, but honestly, the photos speak for themselves 😃 But here's a quick snapshot...

Internal Work

Doors, doors, doors

So many to install - with a house this size lots of doors are kind of inevitable. Sure, they're not the most interesting part of the job, but good door choices really do make a big difference in the finished look of the rooms.

Wardrobes get fitted out in all the bedrooms

This renovation was all about functionality as well as style so the wardrobes have been fitted out to be incredibly practical storage spaces.

Bathrooms

Tiling is completed and vanity units are installed. The timber feature continues and the doors are vein matched (we love attention to detail). Don't they look stunning?

Retreat area

The feature wall which wraps around the stairwell is a really nice touch with Blackbutt floor boards running up the wall. It's something a little different, but it certainly adds wow factor to the room.

Kitchen

All cabinetry has been installed including the butler’s pantry. It's really coming together nicely isn't it? Check out that bar back! Having the timber run up the back of the bench like that is something Matt has always wanted to do so we were stoked that the owners were on board with it!

Accessories throughout the house

The matt black accessories have started to appear with little things like the handles, angles & trims and smart waste (tied in with the window frames).

External Work

Rendering is now complete

Now there’s one uniform surface for us to work with and in the coming weeks it will get a couple of coats of paint to finish it off.

Concreting

Concreting around the house, including the driveway has been poured and set. It's things like that which make a big difference to the street appeal of the house.

Fencing

The fences have gone up around the house. Big thanks to the ACT Fencing & Construction team who did an awesome job.

Well what do you think? Worth the wait? We are so thrilled with how the house is looking as each step of the renovation process is completed. We can see the finish line in sight and can't wait to see it all come together.

Here are some photos from this weeks work.
