Is this the same house??

The last few weeks have been an interesting challenge of juggling really hot days and rainy days but the Nu Look team have been hard at work trying to get as much work as possible done before everyone has a well earned break over the Christmas period.

The hard work has paid off though with the facade of the house about to be completely transformed!

So what exactly has been happening the past couple of weeks?

Internal Work

Waterproofing and under tile heating

We're one step closer to completion in the wet areas like the bathrooms and laundry with the crucial task of waterproofing completed.

One nice little luxury the Hackett house will have is under floor heating in the bathrooms. The new owners are going to LOVE this touch in the cold of winter! The heating has all been put in place and we start tiling ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ.

Plastering

With all the new walls in place and the sheeting completed the not so fun job of plastering has been completed ready for itโ€™s first coat of paint.

Painting

With the nice new walls and ceilings in place, they get their first coat of paint and wow does it look great. There's nothing like a new coat of paint to consolidate the spaces. With our clean white walls and ceilings, the natural light bounces.

Drainage

With all the guttering in place a couple of weeks ago, the down pipes were connected up, not a moment too soon considering the rains of the past few weeks!

Rendering

The renderers have completed the first stage of rendering the house with the back completed. The scaffolds have come down which gives you a much better vision of the full scale of the house. The next phase is for the front to be completed which will bring it all together with an impressive, modern facade.
